Today fast food restaurants are no longer untidy establishments crowded with fat men and gluttons. A typical modern fast food restaurant is a cozy place where it is nice to have a snack and spend some free time. You can see it with your own eyes if you visit any Potato House restaurant.

The guests to the Potato House are welcomed by the American Indian, sitting next to the entrance and smoking a peace pipe. But no, it's not quite true, as at first the guests are "welcomed" by a giant shark jaws, placed in the center of the street-side patio. Many customers of the Potato House are fond of taking pictures with this mysterious object that was found, as the explanatory plate states it, in the sanitary sewer on this very place where nowadays the restaurant is situated.

While the Potato House is aimed not only to provide you with tasty food but to create a good mood, the design of the dinning hall is bright and ironical, and in no way can be called trite. The interiors, decorated in the so-called ethnical pop art, features the portrait of legendary Che Guevara, advertisements of a revolver and motorbike, cactuses and hanging above the counter special table to check your eyesight. Besides the one at the front door, there are some more statutes and portraits of Indians, as a silhouette of Indian is a logotype of the Potato House. The first Potato House restaurant was opened in Lvov in 2000. Today, there are more than 20 of restaurants of this brand on the territory of Ukraine, three of them can be found in Kiev.
