You descend the stairs past the rose petal pool into a North African world of spices and luxury. The restaurant consisting of four separate but interconnected halls and two private dining areas is full of genuine Moroccan artifacts from ornate brass plates and unusual animal shaped candles, to an exquisite porcelain tea service.
The walls are draped with "Magrheb" carpets and the seating areas are covered with sumptuous tapestry cushions all originating from the souk. With the stained glass windows heavy ornate furniture, the separate "Hookah" pipe room and hanging drapes we offer you the Moroccan experience.
You may taste original Moroccan and Parisian cuisine. Appetizers include "Zaalouck" salad (sliced eggplant baked in "Sharmula"sauce). Choose a main course from baked lamb with spices, chicken in special saffron sauce, turkey, mushrooms, rack of lamb, beef in "Harrisa" sauce or several types of genuine Couscous. Another traditional dish served here is "Tajin" cooked in a special earthenware pottery dish of the same name. The dessert list is large and delicious. How about Moroccan puff pastry with nuts and dates stuffed with almonds and hazelnuts or the unique carrot marinated in an orange juice sauce.
